Other than the obvious like diapers and pain meds, below is the items that I’ve had since pregnancy and items that I have bought on Amazon same day delivery. items that have made my day to day so much better and easier to get through.

• Diaper sheets: trust me, the last thing you need to worry about is mid diaper change pee or poo going everywhere. Have the diaper sheet between baby and changing table and if they have an accident while not wearing a diaper you won’t have to worry about cleaning it up you just have to throw away the diaper sheet.
• A personal cart: yes you’ll have the room done up to perfection but what you won’t have room for is the random ass shit that you need while hanging out with baby. I got a 3 tier cart with wheels that I can roll to my room or wherever I am with Eve so if I need a snack or moisturizer or hand sanitizer it’s there and I don’t have to worry about moving around 500 small items.
• An additional chair: yes you’ll have the nursing chair, but what you don’t realize is that you want another chair for your partner or your friend to sit on while you are in the nursing chair or vice versa.
• Small diaper bag: I obviously got the BEIS diaper bag, but my god that’s big enough to go on a 20 day road trip with the baby to the Sahara. I got another small diaper bag that is convenient for those doctors appointments or quick car rides that you’ll realistically only need a few items but still need more room than a clutch.
• Snacks: I have about 10 different type of oat (oat because it helps with milk production) snacks to just grab and eat while Eve is on tit.
• A relaxing morning and night routine: everyone talks about baby routine for bed, no one talks about what is your routine that makes you feel like a human again. A simple but relaxing routine that I can rely on to make me feel like me again.
• Peri bottle: a peri bottle that makes sense. The hospital gives you a stupid one. You want to get the Freida one that goes upside down.
• Phone charger by nursing chair
• Cat treats by nursing chair
• Cozy blanket for yourself by nursing chair.
• Cardigan by nursing chair, let’s be serious you don’t want a cold back with ya titties out
• Baby comb by nursing chair to brush their hair while feeding
